I was working on a file and hit the close button by mistake. Worst part is that I did not have it saved.
I have autosave feature in XP turned on and I have looked in the .....User/Application Data/Microsoft/Excel folder.......... but there is nothing there. Does it not save a file in this case? Or is this only good for if the system crashes? If so, is there another way I can prevent from myself closing a file without saving? THX |

Yes, but someone walked into my office and I was not paying attention when I wanted to "minimize" and hit close.
