Format PC and put on XP

Right, decided to format ma comp again. problem is my cousin used to do it for me. i know that the xp disk is bootable. but can some one guide me through how to do it. ive herd its :fdisk or summet but were to do it. also what screens will i expect. thanks

You don't need to use fdisk or anything else before installation. You can partition and format during the install. Just boot from the CD.
