xp upgrading

I have a laptop running me and I want to put xp on it but im not sure about it not supporting the hardware.

When windows xp first came out, you could of had a test done to make sure every thing worked with it. It scanned the hardware and told you what windows had drivers for and what it did not.

Were can I get this?
