Question choppy video in games? Any resolution?

IVe got an Gforce3 128 meg card on win 200 pro(sp4) and when I play test drive(newest one), the video runs fine but ever 4 sec or so it clips or stutters like it is trying ot catch up. I have 256 meg. Could it just be that I dont have enough system memory? I notice my hard drive grinding alot while I play.
Thanks,
Ron

Yup. Your hard drive grinding is because the game has filled up RAM, and needs to use the swap file.
Sometimes you can shutdown extraneous stuff to free up some RAM, but it's always better to have a few meg to spare.
Get another 256 in your machine, and everything should run a bit faster, and smoother.
