Hey ho!
Running windows ME (rubbish) and the other day while browsing suddenly I got a message telling me there was missing information in my content advisor. I am now required to enter a password every time I want to use a site. Problem is I haven't ever set a password for content manager and I can't turn the damn thing off. Neither I am able to unistall IE5.5 as it is not listed in my add remove progs. I tried installing an older version but couldn't. So I installed netscape 4.1 or something likethat and upgraded to 7.1 and set it as the default browser but i.e keeps opening when I go links in email and refusing access due to lack of password. How the hell can I either fix IE or uninstall it completely. Cheers

Couldn't do that as I had system restore turned off for some reason. (idiot). However solved the problem by deleting the *.pol file in system and downloading a file called rasci. something or other. Rebooted got the same message and tried an old password I use for the internet but not content manager and all is fine now.>?>? still don't know how content manager assigned itself the password. >>>???? Thanks for your help anyway.
