temperature issue

hi
i have been having trouble with 3Dmark03.
it appears that it quits when the cpu temp gets up to around 45'c.
i was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and if there is a setting/program in windows (XP) that stops programs when the temperature gets too high.

i can prevent it from happening if i turn the heat sink fan up to the maximum but it doesnt seem right.

thanks

That is not a high temp at all. Does this happen at any other time or just when running 3Dmark? I think I'd run DocMemory, found at www.simmtester.com and check out that memory...

I think what I'd do it put in a brand name, quality PS and some brand name, recommended memory and try it out. If you don't have it, maybe you can borrow from a friend?
