How to make paper in Word blue or black?

My eyes are tired from looking at the white background of the paper in Word document. I want it to resemble the MUD games console, or old BASIC, or DOS programming console so that the background is either black or dark blue and the letters are white, or yellow in case of blue.
Anybody know what could be done?

Possibly, if there is no way to change paper color, there are other alternatives to Word?

Thanks

In word, goto TOOLS, Options, General Tab, and put a check mark in the Blue Background white text box

Or, in Word, go to Format>Background and choose your color.

Tue, if you don't mind working in Web Layout View as it only works in that view.

But this one only gives you a blue background with white text.
