Cool Minimized windows

Most websites I visit and programs such as excel and word, even my e-mails, open minimized.

Is there a default change I can make to have these things open maximized?

Thanks

To get the window to open maximised follow these directions exactly:
Right click the IE shortcut icon next to the Start button, select Properties, and change it from "normal" to "maximised". Now left click it to open.

Next, right click any link on the page, select "open in new window". Do not maximise this. Instead use your mouse to enlarge it to what you want.

Close the first window you opened, then close the second window.

Now open IE again using the shortcut next to the Start button, and from here on out, your windows should all open to the size you enlarged to.
