Shop Vac Work on Win 2000?

Does the Shop Vac routine espoused by "Reboot" and many, many others work for Windows 2000?

Bummer! Is there anything worth its salt for cleaning up a Windows 2000 registry? Opinions on any existing software welcome!

...the best registry cleaner I've seen this far ( I do own System Mechanic, but its not as thorough*) is a proggy called "Reg Supreme" have a look!
