Question Getting rid of false printer driver error

This is really more of an annoyance ("issue") than a problem.......

I have a Sony VAIO laptop with XP Home preloaded and it works OK (although I do not like for it to automatically access a file or program until I intentionally click on it, but that is another matter), except for a printer driver error that appears when I boot up.

The message is labeled as Epson PrinterPort, and reads, "At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details." I click on "OK" and the message disappears; the printer driver seems to be working OK, and I can print to the Epson C82 over my wireless network without difficulty.

In the past, the printer driver had failed and I removed it, then reinstalled the driver to get it working. Is the OS expecting another driver to be loaded?

How do I remove this error message?

Thanks in advance.

"Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details."

And when you do this, what does event viewer say? (right click on my computer->manage->event viewer)
