How do I get rid of menu ??

Hi all
After doing a clean install of XP I get that annoying menu which offers me a choice between Windows XP or Windows, I have a partitioned HDD but only installed XP and not any other windows versions. Can you tell me how to get rid of it.

Easy method to me is the Sytem icon in control panel->Advanced tab->Startup button->change the time to one second.

2 ways to do this the second way is best

1 hit start run search and chose to search for hidden and system files then in the look in box select c: and in the find box type boot.ini and hit the search button the file it finds can be edited with note pad just remove the line that says windows.

2 or right click my computer select properties go to the advanced tab then startup and recovery settings and hit the edit button and remove the windows line all so when your in the settings window remove the tick from auto restart as it can cause a boot loop if you have a problam later on hit apply and reboot the computer
