Windows Installer Inop - PCMech Forums

Artie18 Member (5 bit) Join Date: Dec 2001 Location: Reading, PA Posts: 20	Windows Installer Inop I have previously used the MS Installer for both Windows Updates and Office Updates successfully. Inexplicably, the Office Updates fails to download and presents a message that, "I may not have administrator priveleges" (I do), or "I may have recently upgraded the Installer from ver. 1.0 to 1.1" (I did not). Oddly, Windows Updates still operates as in the past, but Office Updates does not. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to cure this problem? I cannot find any helpful info on MS Support site.
