I've never heard of ace utilities . Do you mean you disabled search in xp or is it the internet search function you disabled ?

Look for the cookies it placed on your hard drive...do a search "cookie"..delete the cookies and reinstall. I am not sure what it is you installed, or if it will work...but its worth a try. Also look for any hidden remnants of that application on your hard drive.

no problem.
just do a system restore back to the date that is before the change was made and you will be back to normal. this is one of the great features of xp, the ability to go back to any date |

It might be even simpler just do the ctrl+alt, del thing and enable it in start up.
I checked their web site and they boast about disabling start up programs. All you may have to do is put a check in a box. If I'm wrong then go to bailey's solution. |

this program has modefied the windows regerstry to fix it you will have to eather reinstl windows or get a licence for the ace program and have it fix it unless you have a look in the ace program folder for a undo file which may give you the option to undo the changes it has made
which version of ace did you use i will see if we have a licenced copy at work we have most of the versions so you may be luckey we dont use them any moor |
