Question deleting old playlists in wmp9

running windows xp and wmp9, i have had many playlists over the years, but after deleting some of them, they still show up inside the playlist view of wmp9. anyone know how to get rid of them? thanks

yeah, guess that might help. just right clicked on it in the media window and hit delete. it told me that it could not read from the source file or disk. i hit ok and it was gone. thought that is what i tried earlier, but apparently not
