Will i be able to use a 160gb drive in windows xp. i want to make a single partition the size of 160gb

I think that you have to have SP1 installed , and then you should have on problems. I don't at least.

SP1 must be installed to use drives >137 gig; or at least you will need the hot fix that addresses the problem.

If you run it off of a Ultra ATA pci card, that should come with the card, there should be no problems.
