From a google search

I had exactly the same problem, I solved it on the following way. go to your c:\windows\inf directory (note: this a hidden directory), make it unhidden under options/map options/display,
after this go into the inf directory and search for the pchealth.inf file, right click on the file and choose install, this will reinstall the help and support center completely and the problem will be solved

Thanks Morriswindgate, I had seen that fix in another forum and tried it but it did not work for me. If you have any other ideas my ears are open.

Use the Windows file search to seach your ME disk and find the marscore.dll on your CD.
I have forgotten most of it, but it seems on 98 and ME that under the System Tools>System Information>Tools Tab there was a system file checker that works with your CD to reload damaged files.

Ok. I'm confused. I did a search for the marscore dll on the os disk. Did not find it. I have also searched and searched for an application that will reconcile/fix damaged files on the hard drive from the disk. BTW I do have ME as an os. Someone told me that pchealth will not run properly since the dll is missing, and a virsu will/could cause condition red/complete melt down. What would happen if I just reinstalled the os?

thanks for all the help
