Scanner problems
I have a HP Scanjet 4100C which has been functioning correctly with Win98.
Since installing XP the scanner now only provides the following formats. JPEG, BMP, TIF, PNG....whatever that one is. It now does not provide a TXT format....... Any solutions please......oh yeh I have gone to HPs website and downloade reccomended drivers but it has made no difference. Roy66 |

no scaner can give you a txt format you nead some software to read the picture image and convert it to txt some thing like omni page pro witch may have come with your scaner on the cd but it may not work under xp check out this link http://www.scansoft.com/omnipage/

The 4100C came with OCR software. Did you install that also? or just the driver?
