XP Accto question
I just installed XP on my computer on a new hard drive. I got the CD from my friend. But now its asking me to Activate XP or in 30day I wont be able to use it. I read in the Read FQA about this but it didnt say how to get around this. If any one know how to get around this please let me know thanks

The FAQ is meant to tell you that if you have a legal copy of WindowsXP, simply reactivate it, if you need to call Microsoft, just explain that you have made hardware changes and you will be given a series of numbers that will allow you to use your WindowsXP. If this is not a legal copy of XP then it will not be dealt with on these boards.
There is no workaround to product activation that can be discussed on these forums. Thank you for understanding. |
