Windows 2000
Hey all,
Just completed my intel build. Posted fine. Installed Windows 2000 fine. After I installed my chipset drivers, changed my swap file settings. Then I installed my NIC drivers and Sound Card drivers and then my video card drivers. So I reboot the computer, and when it reaches 100% of the loading phase of Windows 2000. I get a blue screen saying "Unexpected_Kernal_Mode_Trap..Physical memory dump complete" I reboot and the samething happens..any clues? TIA. I am able to enter safe mode. An update: I went into Safe Mode. Removed Video, Sound, and NIC drivers..booted up into Normal mode no problem. I began to install the video card drivers..that went well..rebooted the system..samething happens.
UPDATE: I reformatted the hard drive, and I found a different version of the drivers. Installed and rebooted the system. Works fine. Hopefully no more problems. Last edited by Markoman01027; 12-22-2003 at 09:21 PM. |
