whenever i start up my windows 2000 machine, control.exe manhandles the cpu and takes about 90% of it for itself. i go into windows task manager and end the process manually, then all is well. i have to do this each time i boot up. i've run a virus check and came up clean. this happened after i installed CRAPPY ADOBE 6.??. do not download the new adobe - it sucks. i uninstalled it, but the control.exe is a pain in the you know what!
any suggestions??? thanks |

Well, there is no issue with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (I am assuming you mean that) control.exe is a windows executable that starts the control panel. C:\Windows\system32\control.exe
