Win 98 files in XP
I'm considering installing Win XP on my computer. I'll be using a new HDD and installing XP on it, keeping my current HDD with Win 98 as a secondary drive. I eventually want to format the old HDD and RAID the two but for the time being want to keep all my old files accessable.
With regard to the two types of file systems (FAT32 and NTFS), can I just go to my old HDD and copy files from it to the Win XP drive (such as pictures, word documents, browser profiles, address books, etc.) and use those files under Win XP? Thanks, Dave |

NTFS can read FAT32, but FAT32 can't read NTFS... what you want to do will work fine.
