I upgraded an NT4.0 system to 2000 professional and it keeps crashing immediately at start up with:
Stop 0x1E (0x05, 0x80462147, 0x00, 0xBFE9) kmode_exception_not_handled Beginining dump of physical memory.... Address 80462147 base at 80400000 datestamp 3EE6C002 - ntoskrnl.exe The system is a Dell Optiplex GX400. Microsoft knowledge base says it's usually an out of date driver, BUT WHICH ONE? With Windows 98, one could load the drivers one by one. It doesn't seem you can do that with 2000. Anybody have any ideas on how to diagnose this? Thanks, ESTEVEK |

That's not quite as friendly as answering yes or no as each driver is about to load as one can do with Win98. I was hoping to avoid clobbering each driver one at time in device manager since 2000 takes so long to load and shut down, but I do appreciate your response.
