problem installing windows 98
helloo all
am trying to install win 98 in acer 233 mhz system and when it reachs 26 % it says that it cant copy the file and i have 2 options ignore or close ... both of them will result of installing canceld so this what i tryed so far , i changed the HD and i change the cd drive and i change the windows cd copy nothing works ,, i even copyed the win98 folder in the harddisk and try to install it form the hard disk that didnt work either ,,am not sure whats wrong ,, but am really confused ,, this system used to have win 95 on it, dose that make a defrent ,, and by the way i did create a anew partation and format be4 i install wiondows help me plz |

it kinda sounds like you useing a copy of the orginal w98 cd
and it is a bad copy |

Sounds like you've followed the right procedures, but if you want to verify, here's a good step-by-step I've used as reference.
