hi
I download certain video files and want to preview them before they are fully downloaded and i have software that lets me do that. The problem is that when i right click and click save target as and give a path, win xp wont save the incomplete download in the specified location untill its fully downloaded.I tried looking in the temp and temporary intenet folders and also tried search file name but couldnt find the file untill it was fully downloaded. Can some one please tell me where i can look for my incomplete downloads or a file that s only 3/4 copied.i use windows xp cheers |

Welcome to PCMech
umm.. you can't do that with regular downloading. You need one of those download managers that makes a data file that keeps track of your progress. Do a google search. Many of them are free but gozilla works well.
