Angry Fire playing games on 98se

hey all,just put together a rig for my son to play games on.
specs are a7n8x,amd 2400,256 kingston ram g4 440mx and windows 98se.games like call of duty crash after about 10 minutes.i play COD with xp and no problems.also updated 98se with all the recent stuff from windows update.when i run 3d mark 01 it crashes after about 1 minute.anyone have a suggestion or tip?

You might try running Memtest86 to see if the problem is with your ram.

Update your BIOS? Your card might have trouble running the game at high graphics so tone down the graphics to something simpler.

Does every game crashes wile playing?Try lower agp transfer rate in the BIOS.Whether its 4X or 8X.

since my first post i have switched to xp pro,a friend wasnt gonna use it so she gave it to me.games still crashed.but thanks to panama red and the rest of you problem solved.it was the memory.it's ddr 3200 but it is kingston value ram and i guess it doesnt like running at full speed.thanks again and have a great new year,you all deserve it
