recovering deleted restore points

Hi guys need your help once again.I will give you all the info I can think of so you have the whole scenario. I had a problem a while back with a slow boot up,wrote in and got info on bootvis.exe, msconfig, clearing internet junk, and someone had even suggested that my HD might be going south.I wound up restoring to an earlier date and cleared some start up items, which helped.I downloaded alot of music, video, movies and have filled 32 gig on my HD.I noticed I have been slower booting up 45sec to no power state to my Xp user screen and another 25sec from my user name to windows.I used to do this in about 15 to 20 sec and another 5sec from my user name to Xp.When I built my computer I was leary aboout partitioniing and didn't.I don't know if this is my problem of looking at the whole HD and I should partition or change from FAT32,like I said I was leary because I read NTFS will not support old software.I got a DVd bburner for Christmas and wanted to fix this problem before installing,so I installed 512mb more rambus and bought Nortons SystemWorks2004 to clear up my registry and figured that would help with the boot speed as well.It found a lot of mistakes,1 virus, cleared internet junk but did not increase my boot time. Before installing norton I created a restore point in case of anything floopy happens.I then figured after using Disk doctor, and the other tools it came with that my slow boot might be a hardware conflist and I might restore to the previous week,to my surprise Norton deleted all my restore points and I would like to get them back, does anyone know how I can do that? Also I purchased Partition Commander,a new 80 Gig Seagate in case my HD is going south, and a wireless router I want to connect but first I want to solve my HD delemia and get my restore points back Thanks

I"m lost. What is your problem? Are you trying to find some deleted files? The do a search for PC Recovery, it's a free file recovery program.
