IE and System sounds...
Is there a way to turn of the noises that IE makes? Like those "confirmation" clicking sounds?
Also, it there an easy way to turn on / off system sounds in general? Like a master switch to turn them off for a short period of time, then easily turn them back on? TIA !

Try the Sounds in the Control Panel. You can control what sounds are made for what actions through that.

They can be turned off and on through Control Panel-Sound Speech and Audio Devices-Change the Sound Scheme

Thanks!! ![]() TwoRails |

Yeah the "Start Navigation" sound (the click you hear) annoys me like nothing else. It's the first I turn off after I install windows.
