XP wont let me log in????
I installed XP for a friend of mine and when it finished and started to load windows it take me into log in screen as Adminisrator and asking for a password. It never ask me to type in a password or user name while Xp was installing. When I hit enter without typing a password in it said something like Cant find domain name or domain does not exist. Please see adminisrator.
I should also mention that this computer is an PII 233Mz 96MB of ram. Pretty weak I know. Never got any error messages while XP was installing. Think its the computer??? |

when you were intalling it asked "is this computer part of a domain?" or seomthing like that..
you probably inadvertantly clicked "yes".. I'm not sure how to fix it at this point... I'm sure someone else will be along shortly with an idea

if you can't log on as the admin, you can't do anything
you probly will need to clean off the drive and do a new install. |

isn't the default password for Administrator NO password? Try leaving it blank.
