Extension Problem............. HELP
ok guys i need some help here i turned on my pc and i tryed to rename a exe but it wont allow me to rename it with out haveing .exe in the name (ex loader.exe) but yesterday i could name it anything i wanted..... like loader or even asdfasdfasdf, since that problem happened i tryed to rename a jpg image but it wouldnt let me
 i have to keep .JPG in the name inorder for the pic to work.... so basically i have to have the file extention in the name for the file to execute any idead on how to fix this?..thanks -greg |

What O/S?
If it's XP, you will need to open any folder and on the menu bar, tools > folder options > "view" tab > uncheck "Hide extentions for known file types"
