Program not working with XP

I have a program that I desperately need to get working with XP. Obviously the requirements for the program are for anything except XP. Is there any way that I can get it to work? I tried, but the compatibility wizard is not working.

It's a hard cold fact that many programs designed for Windows 95,98, and ME will not work in XP. That is part of the reason you see a lot of people using dual operating systems. If the compatability mode will not work, then you will have to look at a dual OS setup.

You can always try Virtual PC or VMWare.

Eh? Is that downloadable from somewhere? And would there be any problems associated with a dual os system?
