msconfig for 2k Pro?
Guys/Gals, I know there is a "msconfig" for xp. So when I tried it on my other computer, Win 2k Pro, the "run" command didn't find a msconfig. Can someone please give me the command. thx.

There is no msconfig for windows 2000, but, fortunatly, there is a work around.
http://www2.whidbey.com/djdenham/Msconfig.htm Just download the windows 2000 one and put it in the c:/winnt/system32 folder then use run->msconfig and it should work for you. HTH |

You should be able to put the msconfig file from XP in that same directory and it will work too. They are the same msconfig file.
