Go into the Recovery Console, which you can enter in the windows setup screen. There use the format command to reformat your hd.

when you went thru setup, did you delete the partition that was there? If not, run it again, this time choose to delete the partition, it will then create a new one and you should have a clean "brand new out of the box" install.

when i went through the setup i wasnt able to delete the partition. The unused partition that was 8mb in size wouldnt let me delete it ..i think..i said it was system files or somehting..i forget..and teh other option i had was to select the option" C: ntfs...but when i hightlighted it there was not the option to deltete it.
Also..how do i get to the recovery console? |
