Reformatting the hard drive resources.
Does anyone have any good links i can read about reformatting the hard drive.
I went to start>programs>accesories>command prompt..and then typed ...format C: I was warned that thiswould erase everything and asked if i watned to proceed. i said yes but then after i hit enter it said .."format cannot run because it is in use by another process. format may run if this volume is dismounted first. All opened handles would then be invalid. Would you like to force a dismount on this volume?" i am not sure what to do at this point. |

Boot from the cd and delete all partitions, then tell it to setup windows and/or partition and format away.
