>DLL Delima Help Plz

I have recently uninstalled Autocad R14. ANd deleted my ac1st15.dll file. And now I cannot run mechanical desktop(another cad program) and now I get the error message:The ACRX15.dll file is linked to the missing export AC1ST15.dll

Is there a way to restore this dll without reloading windows?

I have tried dropping the dll file into regserver32 and it tells me the file in memory is corrupted..

Heeeeelllllppppp!

Thanks Ragman

If downloading the missing file doesn't help (in case Mechanical is looking in the wrong places for it) - I imagine saving your work and reinstalling Mechanical would fix things.

There's a known bug with that file and systems that run Norton Antivirus 2003 also, if you're interested in more info about that, see http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?ID=2705
(that article also has a link for a version of the file. The Norton trouble shows up as page faults, and seems to be a file-version problem. Though this doesn't directly apply to your current error, I figure Norton's pretty popular, and you might need the heads-up for future installs.
