>DLL Delima Help Plz
I have recently uninstalled Autocad R14. ANd deleted my ac1st15.dll file. And now I cannot run mechanical desktop(another cad program) and now I get the error message:The ACRX15.dll file is linked to the missing export AC1ST15.dll
Is there a way to restore this dll without reloading windows? I have tried dropping the dll file into regserver32 and it tells me the file in memory is corrupted.. Heeeeelllllppppp! Thanks Ragman |

If downloading the missing file doesn't help (in case Mechanical is looking in the wrong places for it) - I imagine saving your work and reinstalling Mechanical would fix things.
There's a known bug with that file and systems that run Norton Antivirus 2003 also, if you're interested in more info about that, see http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?ID=2705 (that article also has a link for a version of the file. The Norton trouble shows up as page faults, and seems to be a file-version problem. Though this doesn't directly apply to your current error, I figure Norton's pretty popular, and you might need the heads-up for future installs. . . . Gary |
