restore in ME

is there a restore facility in ME similar to XP?

yes, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

System restore in me doesn't always work at least thats what I have found. if you have any probs restoring with it just disable it control panel/system properties/file system/trouble shooting and then tick disable system restore. (you can always enable it later) you will have to reboot the computer for this to take effect.
when the computer reboots, click on Start/run and in the run box type scanreg /restore and enter. you can select a time to restore your computer to.
when you type scanreg /restore leave a space between scanreg and the forward slash. This works much faster than System restore in me although a bit limited because you only have about 5 restore points you can pick from.
