WinXP Home edition--HELP!
I need a way to get past the 30-day activation thingy. Currently, I have SP1 installed on a Original version of Win XP. How can I disable the activation thing? Any help with be much appreciated.

It's not meant to be disabled. If it's a legal copy of XP and you're having trouble with it, a call to Microsoft can straighten it out. If it's not legal...well I'm sorry, but we don't discuss pirated software here.

welcome to pcmech
there is one thing you could try, but there is no gaurantee that it will work. completely remove it from the hard drive , reformatt the drive and do a full complete install, but that would be a problem to do that every 30 days best to activate it and never have to worry about it again, it is a very simple thing to do. and there is no reason I can think of as to why you would not want to activate it. |

haha~ Actually, I borrowed the original version from a friend, who already lent that disc to another guy. so I guess a problem arises there. Is there a third-party program which I can use to crack the activation thing?
