Problem when updating drivers

Ok, I bought Beyond Good and Evil the other day and it told me I had to update my drivers before playing. The prob is my computer does not have a phone line in my room. So I got on my old comp and dnloaded the driver and loaded it on my new comp.

Enter the problem. When restarting my comp it tells me that it has found new hardware and needs it signed. Then wants to connect to the internet. Well, as I sayed before, I can't connect. It then gives me the option of going through a list of drivers and choosing it so Windows can get it signed I guess.

When choosing the correct driver, my comp crashes and restarts. I really don't care about getting the driver signed being that Beyond Good and Evil works. But the prob is everytime I start my comp the "New Hardware found" thing comes up. It is quite annoying.

So my question, in short, how do I get it to stop coming up. Is there another way to get the driver signed without my computer crashing. Or just making it to where it won't annoy me?

By the way, I'm updating the drivers for my AIW 9800 Pro. Just the display driver not the Control Panel or Capture Drivers. I am running XP. If there is anything else you need to know just ask

A lot of the manufacturer specific drivers you just have to click on continue anyways and force them to load even though you get that warning about not being signed.. It just means that Microsoft itself has not actually tested the drivers you are trying to install but if it is indeed the ones you need then try loading them anyways...

I have loaded it and it works. Just when i start the comp it tries to sign the driver or something.

I know it loaded because the game now works. At first, before updating, it was just a black screen with audio. So i know it loaded.

Just can't get the "New Hardware Found" thing to leave me alone

what actually is the new hardware that it keeps finding then?? Check your device manager to see what it is, and you can disable it from there or just let windows load it...
