Device Manager Win 98

I'm getting a yellow exclamation point at Advanced Power Management in the device manager. I have tried updating the driver but it says the one it has is the best to use. Is there anything that can be done to get rid of the yellow exclamation? Do I need APM or can it be removed?

Have you tried removing it, then restarting and let windows reinstall it? If not, try it. If windows doesn't automatically reinstall it, you can go to the control panel/add new hardware and install it from there.
