I don't know why Internet Explorer is doing that. How long has it been happening? Can you reinstall it or do a system restore?

Um, but if you're having trouble with popup ads, go to Google.com and download the toolbar. It has a really good popup blocker.

Why don't you try to uninstall Internet Explorer and reinstall it.
By the way, the problem might occur if you are using Windows 98, with Windows XP this won't be likely happening.

Stop using IE and get Mozilla or Opera.
