ATX Soft Power Down Problem

ACM Member (7 bit) Join Date: Jan 2003 Posts: 70	ATX Soft Power Down Problem I’ve just finished upgrading my friends Plll from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro. Windows 2000 always used to turn the power to the PC off automatically on shut down (as it should), but Windows XP WILL NOT. It just displays the message “it’s now safe to turn off your computer”, and I have to physically push the on/off switch to turn it off, just as if it was an old AT system without soft power capabilities.
