Hi! I am TRYING to install the Sims Unleashed on my computer and I have the first Sims installed correctly and it works fine. Now, when I go to install this one, it doesn't even load up and it gives me an error message that says something along the lines of
START HAS FOUND ERROR in KRNL386.exe. I have no idea what KRNL386 is, but maybe if I knew what that was maybe I would be able to figure out why my program isn't loading. Can anybody HELP ME!? By the way, I'm running Windows ME. Thanks for your time! |

Do you have problems with anything else or just this game? Is Internet Explorer working correctly?

You might try looking around at The Sims-Unleashed Support Forum...quite a few posts about installation problems already there.

Was "double-buffering" mentioned anywhere in the error message? (might look like DBLBUFF.sys)
Did you install from a downloaded file? If so, try the download again, and make sure NOT to use any "download accellerators" or "download managers". Run a spyware check, just to be sure you don't have uninvited guests on the pc. Some can cause this sort of error. . . . Gary |
