Strange font/ characters in my Windows!!
GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP!
I had some printiner problems, and suddenly my PC started to be slow. I then restarted the PC, and when it restarted, instead of English font (right from the Welcome screen to almost everything in Windows!!) there were strange characters that look like squares and dots and question marks etc etc. I have restarted my PC. I have checked for viruses. What else can I do? Please help!!!! Thanks. |

try running ad-aware and/or spybot. maybe they will pick up something

Tried both several times... they found a bunch of things, but I still have a problem.

You may want to uninstall the printer and software.
Go to Microsoft and look under power toys,and download Tweakui,it has a section to rebuild icons,may work. |
