How To Change Explorer View Default To Details
I have so much stuff on my computer that I always have to shift the Explorer view window from the default Large Icon view to the Detail view. Is there any way I can set my Explorer view window to the Detail view rather than the Icon view.

set it up to your liking, go to Folder Options, click on the View tab, then click on the Apply to All Folders button. That should do it.

Or better yet, if you want to keep all the other folders the same as they are now, just go to Windows explorer, open Tools>Folder Options, Select the View tab, scroll down to 'Remember each folders view settings' and make sure that the box is checked. Then you can select the details view in explorer and it will be remembered the next time. This way you won't lose the settings you have in your other folders.
