XP home vs XP Pro for Video Editing
I'm buildiong a machine for video editing, amoung other things, and have reached the point of software selection.
The information about XP HOME specifically mentions video editing and the XP PRO says nothing about video. I understand the Pro is better for networking but how do they compare for the video editing. I also have a small network here. Suggestions please! Thanks |

For video editing, there is no difference. XP Pro is optomized for a business setting network wise. It has no effect on video editing.

The single largest factor in video editing, is CPU power. You need lots of it.
The second largest factor is hard drive space. You need lots of it too. Third would be your software selection, and how efficient they are (file converting etc.). |
