Bsod - Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
Can anyone help me with this? I'm running with Windows XP Home.
I installed an old Linksys USB driver. Could that be the cause? thanks |

Yup.
Boot to safe mode. Remove all USB stuff from device mangler. Restart. |

I had that BSOD error message a while back, it turned out to be a hardware conflict, I installed the latest driver for my modem, and everything was fine.
So make sure all of your drivers are up to date. |

Thanks guys. I had been swapping my old and new PC off of the same USB connection. I got off my butt and bought a new ethernet cable since the mobo in the "blue whale" has an ethernet port. Problem solved. Somethiing about that linksys USB driver did not sit well with the "Whale".
