Xp Lock Up
Since introducing Telefonica ADSL when i boot up it gets as far as menu page and then i find pointer is frozen and i cannot do anything else. Normally re-booting will clear problem but sometimes i have to unplug modem. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with my laptop and a USB modem. I have not managed to fix it but I am guessing its something to do with voltages. If you unplug the mouse and then put it back in does it work ?

Hi Martin, No difference im afraid, it is not only mouse but all keys are inoperative and the only way out is to restart computer.
