system restore for 2000?
Is there a system restore feature for Windows 2000 professional? Does it affect network settings?
My boss where I work decided to "fix" the network, and in turn, of course, screwed it up. We have 5 computers in the network, and then one he was messing with can only see one other computer(they can only see each other), and neither of them have internet. The other 3 have internet, can see each other, but cant see the other 2. The two that dont have internet are pulling up 169.x.x.x ip's. Any ideas what could be wrong? i cant get ahold of her to ask what she did ![]() TIA ^dan |

documentation? i wish.
[vent]I work at moto photo, we dont have a real IT person. We keep getting more computers and printers and they keep relying on me to do everything. Like i said, I dont know what my boss was trying to accomplish, but she definitly doesnt know what she is doing.[/vent] All of the computers are on the same workgroup. All are set to get a ip from DHCP. If I try to renew the ip of the ones that dont have internet, it says it cant connect to the DHCP server. |
