remove the unremovable
I have a downloaded avi file that i just can't get rid of - it claims it is being used by another person or program. Any tips on how to get rid of it?

If there are other users logged on to the XP you may get that message. Try and log everybody off and then try to delete it.

Have you tried to delete the file from safe mode?
