view settings problem in Win XP Pro

My folders view setting and resizing of pages won't hold the way I like to set it, for instance in the control panel I like icons, but in my documents, I prefer to set it to details, and in the folder options I've checked the tic to "remember each folder view setting", but now, although things are set correctly, this function seems to be compromised somehow. How does one go about fixing this intolerable disobidience..... Of Win XP PRO

I've tried this one: When windows xp forgets it's folder view settings I did this
Opened the registry then I Backup these RegKeys.

1:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Sh
ellNoRoam\BagMRU]

2:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Sh
ellNoRoam\Bags]

After that I've delete them. Closed the registry and
restarted windows to take effect.
I thought that this will fix my setting Problem and it will stay now.NO
This didn't work at all, no change the Problem is still there
And then I tried this one too:
Windows is designed to remember some 400 different folder settings. Windows will start to re-use these stored setting
To increase the number of folder settings Windows remembers:
I opened the Registry Editor and went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Shell \
Right-clicked an empty space in the right pane and selected New > DWORD Value
Named the new value BagMRU Size
Double-clicked the BagMRU Size value, and I set the Base to Decimal
Now in the Value data field I entered the number of folders for which Windows should remember the settings, to 1000
then I went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ ShellNoRoam \
and repeated the steps

then I delete the following registry keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Shell \ BagMRU
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Shell \ Bags
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ ShellNoRoam \ BagMRU
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ ShellNoRoam \ Bags
and closed the registry and rebooted
this "fix" this didn't work as well
so what am I to do next to resolve this.
In a nutshell, I can change the view and page size for that one session only,
but when i close it, and reopen the same folder, windows will revert back to the setting I've chosen some time ago,
and it will display all the pages based on this old setting,
and I can't change the setting I prefer on other folders, they all came up the same,
in size and view (the one I use is details)
and the folders are set to classic folders (Win XP Pro)
