Triple boot safeguards
Win 98/Win 2000/Win XP Every once in awhile I take one of my systems and set it up this way until something goes wrong with my tinkering and one of these OS;s is lost to me.If this were to happen again wouldnt all I need to do is backup the mbr from the C: drive and the boot.ini to recover this setup so that all works as it originally did? These OS's are all on different partitions btw.

If anything goes wrong just use the XP_CD to fixmbr and then you will have access to all your OS's. I keep a copy of my boot.ini b/c it has lines for booting into safe mode and such and don't feel like having just a standard one. But fixmbr should fix your problem if something goes wrong. Good Luck!
